I see magic in pain. It illuminates patterns and we can transmute it into strength. A place from which you create a life that brings you pleasure; where you embrace your wildness and energy.

Tuning into your breath unleashes an entire cascade of reactions in your body.


This is where you will find balance and healing. It’s important to maximize the daily frequency that this magic is released for your body to repair and recover.


No more “cookie-cutter” programs and meal plans. No more wondering and worrying about “Will this work?”


This is an intuitive approach. There is a sense of what might work where and a loose plan, but how the plan is carried out will depend on and respond to the flow of its surroundings.

This is an internal journey that has a physical expression. Pack your bags with a sense of lightness and know that change can be an incredible blessing, even when you are leaving behind things that are familiar or comforting.


As humans, we tend to believe that we manage to somehow control nature, and the use of artificial light is probably one of the best examples.


It turns out that there are some forces of nature that we cannot get away from.


When I talk about embracing our edges, I'm referring to the things this work will bring to the surface. Things that may have been hidden or felt deep inside. These are sometimes painful to confront or they are embarrassing or taboo. I'll go there with you AND I won't leave you!

This is a culmination of my own experiences and knowledge. Wisdom earned through education and twenty-plus years of work in healthcare, business and wellness. My journey with obesity and abuse landed me here. I've reinvented myself so many times and have no intentions of stopping!

Whether it's personal training or nutrition coaching, I like to shake things up, in a loving way, and remind you that there is always another way. There's power in challenging the general consensus and conjuring a better vision for your world.

When I look around, I see people trying to force someone else's solutions onto their body and life. We are bombarded with well-intentioned, but conflicting, information about what is "the right" way to be healthy.


The reality is that there is no one-way to nurture, be grounded in and fully care for your body. You are able to savour the physicality of the human experience in a multitude of ways.

We cannot tame Nature, but we can learn by observing and tuning into it. At the deepest levels, we are governed by the forces of nature. Like the ancient forests, spectacular galaxies and the seed that becomes the mighty maple tree, there is natural intelligence that is beyond logic and reason. It just happens.


This is an invitation to put everything down and get into your body. Take the time to experience yourself in and of nature; to remember how to just be. Restoration doesn't not have to be a long and involved process.
